Ashgabat Park in Tashkent was built in April 2018 in honor of the friendship of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, so it received the same name as the capital of this state. It covers an area of 12 hectares, where two zones are formed: walking and entertainment. It is home to the country's tallest Ferris wheel with air-conditioned booths and the only Dolphinarium. The octagonal star and horse — the main symbols of Turkmenistan-are often used in architecture and decorations. So, at the entrance, visitors are greeted by a fountain in the form of a star with a herd of stallions, and there is a similar one in the Central part, but larger.
