On October 10, the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre named after Alisher Navoiy will host the Japanese-Uzbek Music Festival, featuring the "Tumor" Dance Ensemble, the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan conducted by Alibek Kabdurahmanov, Japanese singer and composer Tokiko Kato, pianist Yoko Kanno, and special guest, opera singer Jenisbek Piyazov.

The evening's program will include compositions performed by the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan alongside a vocal program by Tokiko Kato. Among the highlights are the famous "Million Scarlet Roses," "Once in a While, Talk of the Old Days"—the closing theme from the animated film Porco Rosso, and "The Song of Higashikawa: Here is the Center of the Earth."
