Tashkent will again receive pianist Francois Chapelin

 

One of the best French pianists, Francois Chaplin, returns to Tashkent with a new concert program of French music. His only concert will take place on September 9, 2022 at 19.00 in the large concert hall of the State Conservatory.

The pianist will present works by the most famous French composers: Debussy, Fauré (completely different works by composers who performed under his performance in March) and Ravel. He will also conduct a master class for students of the State Conservatory.

Francois Chaplin solos with famous orchestras, participates in music festivals such as La Roque d'Antheron. In January 2022, the Aparté label released his new album consisting of the complete 19 Chopin waltzes. This album received numerous positive reviews from critics, as well as his other discs with works by Schumann, Chopin, Brahms, Scriabin, Debussy, Poulenc and others. His recording of the complete piano works of Claude Debussy is considered one of the best in the entire history of the composer's discography.
