General information
The 5th Tashkent International Marathon will be held on March 12, 2023 in Tashkent, the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The start and finish area is located at the intersection of Afrosiyob and Beshyogoch streets (landmark - the ice palace "Humo Arena").
The competition is held at the following distances:
- marathon among men and women - 42.195 km;
- half marathon among men and women - 21.0975 km;
- race among men and women for 10 km;
- race among men and women for 3 km;
Competitions are held in the individual championship.
The route of distances 42.195 km and 21.0975 km 5 of the Tashkent International Marathon is certified by an authoritative international organization (AIMS). The measurements were carried out by AIMS meters of category "B" Rifat Arabachi and Ridvan Dogan (Turkey).
Start time for marathon, half marathon, 10 km race: 08 hours 00 minutes. Start time of the 3 km race: 8 hours 10 minutes.
The age of participants in the marathon and half marathon is 18 years and older among men and women (born in 2005 and earlier).
The age of participants in the race for 10 km and 3 km is unlimited.
All interested athletes and runners, regardless of citizenship, can take part in the event.
Competitors who have passed registration will receive a participant's package at the address Tashkent, I. Karimov street 98a, Uzbekistan Athletics Federation.
In the participant's package for the marathon, half marathon, 10 km, 3 km - bib start number with a chip (1 pc.), in accordance
with a view of the sports program;
- backpack;
- cap;
- T-shirt with long sleeves (Longsleeve).
To receive a “participant package”, you must personally arrive at the pick-up point from March 9 to March 11, 2023 from 10:00 to 19:00
and present the QR code of the registered participant
At the marathon, the time limit for overcoming the distance is 5 hours 00 minutes.
Marathon and half marathon participants who finished among men
and women from 1 to 6 places are awarded with valuable prizes.
Participants in the 10 km race and the 3 km race, who took 1st to 3rd place among men and women, are awarded cash prizes.
All finishers of the marathon, half marathon, 10 km and 3 km races will be awarded finisher medals (athletes and amateurs who have taken part in marathon distance races must finish the distance in the allotted time).
