Welcoming the sun in the early morning, the merry rooster is loved by all birds and praised a lot. The rooster, proud of the praise of his friends, becomes more playful. He is addicted to games and forgets to go to school. The fact that the rooster missed school one day will be a lesson for him for a lifetime.

The play depicts wasting time, not respecting friends, boasting, lying, and negative consequences.
