Located in the heart of Tashkent at 34 Alisher Navoi Street, the Uzbek National Academic Drama Theatre is one of the oldest and largest theatres in Uzbekistan. Its history dates back to 1914, when the Turon theatrical troupe was founded. The theatre has played an important role in the development of the country's national performing arts and theatrical traditions.

The theatre's repertoire includes comedies, dramas, tragedies, classical works and productions based on contemporary plays. Performances are presented in Uzbek and reflect the rich history, traditions and cultural heritage of the Uzbek people. With an auditorium accommodating up to 540 spectators, the theatre offers visitors an opportunity to experience national performing arts, expressive acting and the unique atmosphere of live theatre.
