7 March will see the opening of a new multimedia exhibition project "Savitsky's Diaries. Old and New”. Viewers will be immersed in the world of 20th century fine arts of Central Asia, where history and culture are combined on multimedia screens in the stories created by the artists.
In the multimedia exposition the audience will see works from the collection of the State Museum of Art named after Igor Savitsky. The works not only reflect the traditions and culture of Central Asia, but also cover the historical events of the 20th century that changed the image of the region.
Each picture of the multimedia exhibition "Savitsky's Diaries. Old and New" is a moment of artistic vision, where cultural dialogues and contrasts are revealed on the screen. The exhibition invites viewers on a fascinating journey through time and space, where art becomes a mirror of historical events and worldviews.
The exhibition will run from 7 March to 7 June 2024
Sessions run hourly from 10 am to 8 pm with breaks of 10 minutes;
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday admission is on a first come, first served basis;
Friday - admission is free;
on other days - 20,000 soums;
schoolchildren, students and pensioners when buying tickets at the Iticket box office - a 50% discount;
students of special schools and boarding schools - admission is free;
children under 10 years old - admission is free.
