Tashkent to Host a Stage of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup
Uzbekistan will host one of the most major international competitions – the FIG World Challenge Cup in Artistic Gymnastics for the first time in history. The event will take place in the capital city of Uzbekistan (Tashkent) on June 18-21 at the Gymnastics Centre.
The competition will bring together 65 top gymnasts from 15 countries: Armenia, Bulgaria, AIN, Croatia, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Israel, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, South Africa, Chinese Taipei, Turkiye, Ukraine & Uzbekistan.
Tashkent will welcome stars of world Gymnastics - Olympic medalists, winners of World & Continental Championships. Spectators can look forward to bright, technically demanding & emotionally charged performances.
National Team of Uzbekistan will be represented by:
Women’s Artistic gymnasts: Oksana Chusovitina, Solikha Tursunboeva, Shakhinabonu Yusufova, Odinakhon Robidjonova
Men’s Artistic gymnasts: Khumoyun Islomov, Alisher Boysarov, Ravshan Kamilzhanov, Ozotilla Abdurasulov, Akhrorkhon Temirkhonov, Abdulaziz Mirvaliyev
Holding the FIG World Challenge Cup in ART in our bright capital is a significant event for the country’s sports community & an important step in the development of Artistic Gymnastics in our Republic.
