On November 2, 3 and 4, the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre named after Alisher Navoi will present Georg Friedrich Handel’s opera “Tamerlano”, directed by Stefano Poda.

Handel’s music will be presented in a contemporary interpretation by Kirill Richter and performed by the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan under the direction of Alibek Kabdurakhmanov. The orchestra’s sound will be enriched by the distinctive tones of traditional Uzbek national instruments.
